The enthusiasium of Alan & Bryan is outstanding, Their displays second to none, great service, cooking tips, and gossip. Truly a fish lovers paradise.

World of Fish is a traditional fishmongers with traditional values and superb fish in a world becoming full of fast food and prepacked meals. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of fish and fishy products, happy and willing to advise on the best products available and also alternative. The fish and shellfish is always fresh and they have a huge variety from local caught fish to tropical fish. They also have a large variety of frozen fish as well as various sauces, herbs, oils and they even hire out fish kettle should you need one for your dinner party. They are a real must for any real fish lover and the prices won't break the bank. A superb place with superb people..

Fantastic range of super-fresh local & imported fish (also great range of frozen - very cheap and very good!)also huge range of seafood - get your octopus or marlin here! Served by experienced and knowledgeable staff who are only too pleased to advise and give recipe suggestions. Prices are reasonable for the high-standard fish - I dare not go more than once a week or I would overdose!

There is always a wide variety of fish from the normal to the exotic. If there is anything you would like they will go out of their way to try and get fish for you from anywhere in the world. They also smoke their own salmon which is succulent and mouth watering. Forget the supermarkets shop here for excellent value and fresh fish. J.R

Though fishing has virtually died at Lowestoft, these people are tireless in assembling for us, day after day, an absolutely unrivalled range of sparklingly fresh fish and shellfish (and its associated produce --samphire right now) from the best UK waters and around the world. I suspect they are driven by a fierce and rather old-fashioned passion for their trade and pride in their ability to supply and surprise. But as a result, they have restored the faith and appetites of a whole local community of fish-lovers, and a glance at the global variety of their brimming slabs will be all Gary needs to see why we treasure the huge and constant effort Alan and Bryan make, right up to Christmas Eve. They are true heroes! I have no interest in the business, but a very great interest in their powers of supply and surprise! They are exactly who you should be looking for.
