We went for the first time this evening, the welcome is true hospitality, nothing too much trouble. Food locally sourced and the chef had used the ingredients to full effect, flavours subtle and fresh and a great eveing was had by all!

Small and friendly but big on service and food!! Cakes to die for, locally sourced produce and well cooked and presented food make this a little haven. Andreas makes all feel welcome and you can enjoy a good saturday evening here but you must book. Otherwise just go and sample the afternoon teas with three tier plates with sandwiches and cakes you will enjoy.

Excellent food and a great friendly service, what more could you ask for? My whole family loves Roses, we all have our favourites and we make any excuse to visit. The cakes and scones are so delicious we always have to take at least one home too!

Heaven! What a brilliant place to have breakfast, and better still, my husband is able to enjoy gluten free! Friendly people, just really, really lovely!

If you haven't been to Roses for a cup of tea and a cake, you are definately missing out. the welcome is friendly, the cafe is clean and bright and the food is fabulous. The only downside is that it Andreas needs a bigger restaurant as its so popular you have to sometimes have to wait for a table...but all the best things in life are worth waiting for. Good Luck Andreas You deserve to win.

The cakes here are to die for! The staff are so friendly and always make you feel special, my 2 year old Calvin loves the cinnamon toast, and that's quite an accolade as he is a very fussy eater!

Definetly the best place in heswall for a great lunch and if you have room you must try their selection of cakes - naughty but nice! The staff are really friendly and very personable which goes a long way.

The staff are always friendly and the food is delicious. I am fussy about cleanliness, and have to say that the tables, cutlery and crockery are always spotless. Highly recommended.

Myself and 4 friends enjoyed afternoon tea here yesterday and what a treat it was. The place is small but cosy. The food was delicious and there was a lot of choice available. Recommended to all.
