Andrew Jones was crowned Sausage & Mash Clash Champion 2005 in a competition organised by sausage super-fanatics the British Sausage Appreciation Society. His meat comes from Halifax and Huddersfield and is also used for a specialist pork pie range. Unusually for butchers, he also sells sweet fruit pies, soft almond slices and “very nice and filling” Manchester tarts. He has a second shop on Bethal St in Brighouse.
