the boot and shoe, what can you say? go for the new tapas menu its excellent; if you want to see why so many people have rated the boot and shoe turn up any day of the week and see what we are all raving about. this is the ultimate food hero residence

A great pub with a lovely beer garden, food is delicious and you'll never leave hungry! Great value too.

Firstly the Boot and Shoe is located in the beautiful and historic town of Nantwich so its worth a visit just for this. Secondly Nigel and Jan, the landlords, have created an atmosphere that is reminiscent of a 'real' old style pub with a good mix of local people and visitors. There is an excellent mix of people of all ages and you never feel uncomfortable when you walk in. They provide something for everyone and if its food you need then you will not beat their Sunday lunch (and the price is astoundingly low!) This pub is a pleasure to go into and if there is a key event going on, like a footy match,then you can get into the spirit if it at the Boot. Its excellent and all credit to Nigel and Jan. Lets hope that the 'Boot and Shoe' never goes on the other foot and that Nigel and Jan keep up the good work as superb landlords for a long time.

Genuine, traditional fresh food. Friendly atmosphere and a good selection of real ales and cask beer. Hard to fault! Keep it up, Nigel & Jan!

Huge portions greats flavours and an affordable price, beats cooking at home. A warm and welcoming environment and fantastic people on both sides of the bar!! Nigel and Jan are fantastic hosts and it's nice to find a pub that has the home feel.

A great family pub with a real friendly atmosphere. Superb food, I'm a vegetarian and there's always plenty to choose from. Great vege burgers!!

Jan & Nigel, the landlords are always welcoming, staff are excellent, food is super value, always a huge real fire in the winter, lovely beer garden for the summer.
