The family firm have been making traditional handmade farmhouse cheese for several generations, of almost 100 years. They are one of only a handful of such cheesemakers in Somerset, making cheese on the edge of the Somerset Levels being in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. They also make Organic Cheddar, that meets all the relevant standards, and have recently won the Sainsbury and Daily Telegraph Taste Of Britain Award for Organic Cheddar. The cheese also meets the criteria of the Protected Designation of Origin review this place now
