Found this pub whilst on holiday, beautiful place with friendly staff and excellent service. The food was superb and presented very well, the menu options were good and nothing was too much trouble in varying the choices for the children. A top factor is that it serves real ale!!! When we visit cornwall again next year, we will definately be going back for a meal.

Well, what can i say about the pub that has everything?! Brilliant atmosphere, exceptional food, friendly staff, and two marvellous pub dogs! On a scale of one to ten, this place is an eleven!

I came here last year when I found out that the place had changed hands, and needless to say that my wife and I have been coming back ever since! Everything about the pub is typically cornish. The staff are friendly, the food is second to none, and the Doom Bar tastes better then ever. This place is not just my local, but also a wonderfully romantic place for my wife and I, but also a warm and welcome place to bring our children. Come here, you wont be disappointed.

Wow what a gem this place is! No wonder they have been voted for this award. I went for an evening meal and the food was superb, beautifully presented and used local produce, which is always a plus. The staff were so friendly and welcoming too. The pub itself is beautiful, the dining rooms are exquisite and a lot of time, money and effort has clearly gone into this place. The beer gardens and terraces are perfect for basking in the Cornish sunshine with a pint!!! The real highlight s though must be Bear and Storm... the pub dogs that msut be seen to be believed!!! (they did not come down until gone 10 pm after the resturant was closed.) Go here. you won't regret it

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you in this beautiful and unspolit, typical 16th century country cornish inn. Set in the beautiful village of Mithian, the Miners Arms offers fantastic and brilliantly presented food, all cooked fresh, matched with frienldly and efficient service. Good range of real ales, and wines of the world. House wine by the bottle is excellent value. All round 5* quality, two thumbs way up!

Its a quaint village public house which serves excellant tasting food which is not only value for money but is of excellant quality. It provides a friendly service and accomodates people with food allergies like myself without prior notice as the food is all homecooked. It is also set in beautiful surroundings and accomodates families too. review this place now
