Environmentally friendly, worker-run cooperative, Unicorn Grocery has been treating its customers to organic fruit, veg, grains, nuts and breads since 1996. Unicorn Grocery offers and eclectic range of over seventy lines, catering to those who eat only dairy free, gluten free or sugar free products. Unicorn Grocery aims to look after the well-being of both its workforce and its customers as well as provide wholesome and healthy food.

This is a local co-operative which is committed tot he highest quality fresh produce, locally sourced where possible, and is committed to the local people and the area. Not only is the fresh fruit and veg outstanding, the staff is also fighting a battle against Tesco, and they should be supported in their efforts to continue to provide value, service and good food to the community.

Fantastic place, fantastic range, great staff - lovely to find a place where a vegan can enjoy a wealth of food choices! Very reasonable prices considering the quality of the merchandise. 100% Recommended.

Fresh organic produce sourced as far as possible from local suppliers. Stocks all sorts of unusual varieties of vegetables and has a real ethical approach to retailing.

This is the only place where I don't need to read the labels and can choose with confidence because of the food ethic of this co-operative. Everything is purely and simply - good. and the staff are friendly and helpful.
