Amazing variety of stunning and unusual produce - always attractively displayed. Nothing is too much for the AG team - just fantastic.

Friendly, helpful service coupled with a real enthusiasm for the produce whether it's an alba truffle or some organic carrots. Helps make Turnham Green Terrace one of the best fresh food shopping streets in London.

This is the kind of place that every town, village and city needs. the fantastic local produce is always of excellent quality, and the staff are both knowledgeable and helpful, providing information on the provenance of all their produce. Unsure of what to cook or what is in season - Andreas is always on hand with suggestions on how and what to cook. This is a true local hero.

It's not just the wonderful, high quality range of fruit and veg (not to mention olive oils, saffron and other cooking treats) on offer here that make this one of the best local shops ever. It's the warm, friendly welcome. Even if I am passing by I'm greeted with a "Hi, Jo!" which always lifts my spirits and makes me feel I'm a really valuable customer (though, unless I have visitors, I usually only buy small amounts). I feel so lucky to have the choice and service they provide - and all the benefits that brings to us, in villagey Chiswick.

I have been a customer here for over ten years - the quality of the produce and the enthusiasm and knowledge of the staff were always present at A G & Sons - and somehow they manage to keep it growing. These guys understand and consistently deliver great service.

All the staff are very friendly, some even offer advice on how to enhance recipes etc. if you want it. Not only are they open early, but they'll take delivery orders and then offer to pick up other foods from some other local shops on their way to dropping off the goods! They really make shopping enjoyable, easy and socialable, contributing to a great community feel.

This has to be the best quality fruit and veg in the whole of London - really tasty, very well sourced and not at all pricey. Also, it is such a pleasure shopping here - the staff know their stuff and really interested in the produce. They also do a great, free, home delivery service, or will carry your bags back to the car (even in the rain!)

The produce at these premises is of exceptional quality and intelligently sourced. The display of fruit and vegetables stops you in your tracks. Not only that, they have the most genuinely friendly and helpful staff I have encountered in thirty years as a chef. A visit is worth it whatever part of London you live in.

Andreas G's shop is like the one I used to go to with my grandmother in Massachusetts (you couldn't get such great veggies in Scotland that far back) but he is also the shop of the future - customer and quality driven. Once you become a regular you won't want to go anywhere else! review this place now
