Description
Some years ago Peter Tofalos bought a fudge kettle and started making his own fudge recipes. He went on to add fruit vinegars to his range, and to the delight of his customers a selection of marinades and dressings quickly followed. Peter attends the following farmer's markets: Penwortham, Lancashire on the first Saturday of each month; Rhug, on the first Sunday of each month; Manchester Picadilly Gardens on the second and fourth Friday and Saturday each month; Horton Tower, Lancashire on the third Sunday of each month; and Moss Park, near Bolton on the fourth Sunday of each month.

I bought some of Uncle Peter's Fudge at the Flint & Denbighshire County Show, for my husband who loves fudge. Normally fudge does not last long - but Uncle Peter's fudge was savoured and every mouthful was thoroughly enjoyed! My husband said it is the nicest fudge (it was Caramel fudge) he's ever had - and luckily I managed to swipe some so I could wholeheartedly agree! And thankfully from the video on this site, we now know where to go to get more!

We regularly visit Hoghton Tower farmers Market and Penwortham and regularly puchase Uncle Peter's red pepper and chilli sauce - it's fantastic. Uncle Peter is very friendly, oh and his fudge is delicious too!!

Like any true gastronomic products, Peter's are far more than the sum of its parts. Take the fudge: when you see it, taste it, smell it and feel it in your mouth, your senses are elevated to a higher plane. His vinegars, velvets and dressings are symphonies and his marinades are concertoes. A true master of his craft, someone touched by genius.

I wish all traders could be so friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasure to meet Uncle Peter.

We love Uncle Peter's produce so much we follow him round the markets. The fruit vinegars are essential store cupboard ingredients that liven up salad dressings as well as going well with everything from icecream to goats cheese. I love the fact that he is always so friendly and is constantly developing new products. As regular customers we are always treated to samples of new products and are delighted by Peter's enthusiasm and hard work. Long live Uncle Peter!

Uncle Peter makes the best fudge I have ever tasted. That's it; no gimmicks, just terribly good fudge.

His chocolate orange fudge is beyond compare and I had to go back for his chocolate spread. Peter is a lovely chap and brings the Picaddily Gardens farmers market to life with his witty banter and delicious goods. Top bloke!

The produce is of excellent quality and presented with a meticulous eye to detail making everything look mouth wateringly scrumptous. The service provided by Peter is friendly, and helpful advice is given to any customer on request.
