Nothing says red carpet 2008 quite like the one-shoulder dress. Less showy than a bustier but more directional than straps, that barometer of style the Academy Awards was awash with them (Katharine Heigl stunning in red Escada, Amy Ryan in midnight blue Calvin Klein, Anne Hathaway in draped red Marchesa). When Kylie appeared on The Today Show last week she looked sensational in handkerchief hem floral with, yep, you guessed it - one shoulder.
