Make a Cushion Cover
Cushions can instantly warm up a room, and are wonderfully easy to make. This simple pattern can be made to any size - from small throw pillows on a sofa to a large cushion on the floor. You can use any fabric, from crisp cotton to warm velvet, so it's easy to tailor them to accent your room.
Time to complete the job: Less than one hour.
Approximate budget: £15 or less, depending on the fabric used and the size of the cushion.
You will need:
- Square cushion pad (the desired size)
- Cushion fabric
- Matching thread
- Pins
- Scissors
- Zipper (if desired, 2in shorter than the width of the cushion pad.)
