I don't know if this message is still relevant being nearly a year old but anyway here goes.

Homebase stock magnetic paint £4.99 or £8.99 a tub/pot. It sounds very interesting.

I've bought some glitter paint to decorate my son's bedroom. I'll be using it on Saturday when the undercoat colour has dried - I'll let you know how it went Tracey :D

Don't use bark chippings they look ugly after awhile - I have them and the kids scuff them everywhere. Also they need topping up every year. If the path is going to be straight what about wood. Either decking blocks or wooden slabs - oh you said no stepping stones though - sorry.

What about - if you are good at DIY - concrete with cobbles stuck into it - looks quite effective when Alan and Tommy do it on Ground Force. Let us know what you decide. Tracey

I think there is a crab and a fish that are orange (my favourite colour by the way lol) I don't know if they are boys though. Try the Ty web site.

I bought some from a Sea Life Centre and realistic they look too. Try using the internet to search their site. Hope you have luck. Smile

If you go to the RSPB website or C J Wildbird Food website you will see feeders which they claim are squirrel proof. I haven't tried them as I don't have squirrels in my garden. I have purchased other feeders from these companies and they are very good. Hope this helps. :D

Maybe we are moaning at the wrong people.

The Hosts haven't made any comments on our thoughts and we certainly know what type of programmes we want to see more of so who do we have to complain to to get something done:(

I NOW only watch UK Style if there is nothing else on any of the other channels and then there are times when you just want something none taxing to watch and UK Style is your best bet.

Do the other "UK" channels eg. Food and Living have so many repeats too? I don't watch them.

Try John Lewis or other big department stores or try one of the dye companies themselves. Type a Dylon into your search engine and see what happens. :D

I miss the live chats. :(

Angela, I watched the last of Des Res the other day and the couple had £500K to spend and at the end of the programme they didn't opt for any of the 3 properties shown. As I messaged about Home in the Country - what is the point of this programme?

Is it so we can have a nose at other peoples houses?

What about stores that cater for teenagers Tammy, Miss Selfridge etc? They might have trousers to fit a slimmer figure. Smile

Although Patsyanne - stinging nettles are a good place for butterflies to lay their eggs so you might want to keep just a small patch. Smile

I already moaned about this on the other 'what's on UK Style' message page. They did the same a month or two back with Changing Rooms.

Once you've seen these programmes twice they loose their enjoyment I think.

We need some new programmes. PLEASE UK STYLE. :(

What a lovely idea I thought when I first saw this programme announced. I have since watched several programmes and at the end of every programme the prospective buyers "are still looking for the dream home" Has anyone actually bought one of the houses they viewed on the show? or is the programme another excuse for looking round other people's homes.

I agree UK Style User (do you have a shorter name?)

They are putting out Ground Force for the Easter weekend! How many times have these programmes been on?

We've seen them on BBC2 then they switched to BBC1 and now they are on UK Style AGAIN.

If you intend to repeat a programme again and again I don't think you should make such a big deal out of having a whole weekend drawing attention to the fact that you are showing a whole weekend of REPEATS.

Sorry to go on but this also happened with Changing Rooms not so long ago. I didn't bother to tune in then and I won't this coming weekend.

Get some new programmes PLEASE!!!

Angela I agree with your labelling idea. It would be extremely helpful to be warned about this species of bamboo.

I have my bamboo in a pot. I thought it was going to grow at least a couple of metres tall but it only gets to a height of 50cm :D

I should really move it from where it is as it looks more like a grass than a stately bamboo I thought it would :D

These wooden blocks have a very delicate pattern carved into them and I don't want to lose any of the detail with harsh scrubbing Eek

Can anyone suggest a web site? :D

Need to get them cleaned before I return to school. :D

Does anyone know how I would go about to clean some old wooden printing blocks? Is it just a case of warm soapy water or a specialist cleaning fluid? Please advise. :D Thanks

What we need is a technical programme that helps you to learn to do DIY. Design is all well and good but you need the know how to do the DIY jobs.

You watch a programme and they are showing you say, "putting up a shelf" but they don't tell you what equipment you need or how to do it.

I'm not saying that it would replace the "designer" programmes but it would make a bit of a change! Don't you think?
