Does anyone know a supplier of portobello mushrooms in the north east of england....perhaps Durham area? I have asked all the large supermarkets without success. I do go back to London every few weeks so if anyone could suggest a source there also I should be eternally grateful. These are the best, most succulent mushrooms. Only ever found them in Essex previously. Please help.Thank you, Clare.

Sorry to hear that you can't get hold of these where you live, I really don't understand why the large supermarkets aren't stocking them near you as nearly every one near me does (I live in Oxfordshire). If you are going to London then I can only suggest asking in a large Waitrose or Sainsburys (or even good old M&S). Good luck!
