Hi pluckycooker , ask your friend what her favourite hobby is or her most addored item is, Then surprise her with her own designer cake with the object on top made out of sugar paste. My husband used to be a formula One driver and I had a racing car made out of icing to go on top of the top teir of our wedding cake, It was different and truly fantastic .

Question for Paul Rankin, dear Paul 2 or 3 years ago you appeared at the Nec in Birmingham, You were in the Safeway theatre and you cooked cubes of lamb on skewers(under the grill as the gas oven let you down because Nick Nairnwas using it prior to you) The lamb was spicey and marinated in yogurt, I have made the dish a few times,it is delicius but unfortunally I have lost the recipe. Would it be possible to repeat it on wed's show or post it? From a great fan of yours . Love Blondie02

Although nobody can present UKFood as well as Jenn, to me she is a wonderful host for this programme but who would you like to see host her show when she goes on holiday? I think Fern Britten and Phill Vickory would make a good team. Fern knows all about hosting and of course hubby can cook. What does everybody else think it must be someone who hasnot presented before.

I would freeze them for now untill you decide what to do with them. Fruit juices are always popular , pavalovas ect, I take cranberries , other soft fruits straight from my freezer and make instant drinks. Cranberries and pears go well together. Now I always have a supply at hand.

Michelle, I have an Austrian friend who was brought up on all cheeses and one was a slightly sour cream cheese He used to put some cheese on his plate add some castoa sugar and then put it on a bread roll or french stick, he said it was the only way they ate it. I tried this and it was nice. Go for it.Smile

Caryn if you donot like certain t.v. chefs the n switch over to another t.v. channel, a t.v. viewer who's opinions go on and on and on and on has got to be pretty boring themselves. :( :(

Caryn,It's nice to see an opology.No-one deserves to be spoken to like that.afterall, they are on television to entertain and help us. They are very busy people and enjoy what they do. To appear on television or appearing in public can be very nerve racking,I agree with Rustie, everybody may shake at some stage.Pinwald,I expect poor Ross was wondering what was going to be said about him next. Nothing but nice things I hope!.
