I agree, with Jeni and GFL we not only get fanatastic recipes and hints and tips, but also a refreshing spontaneity that cannot be learned. We have plenty of cookery programmes where we can sit in front of the telly impassively to be instructed how to make terrific food, but with GFL we get something that we can get involved in, thoroughly enjoy and have a good old belly laugh. What is UKTV food thinking of, the response from RoopaG does not cut it!! 
Also just watched the first 30 minutes of Market Kitchen. What were they thinking of to replace GFL with this dreadful programme? Everything, the set, the wooden presenters, (what are all those people doing in the background?) and the camera work is very poor!! I shall not be watching any more!!
