Market Kitchen Volunteers - Terms & Conditions
1. The broadcaster of "Market Kitchen" (the "Programme") is UKTV New Ventures Limited (the "Broadcaster"). The Broadcaster operates several cable and satellite television channels, including "UKTV Food". The Broadcaster's principal place of business is at 160 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5QA.
2. The production company of the Programme is Optomen Television Limited (the "Production Company"). The Programme is one of several programmes produced by the Production Company. The Production Company's principal place of business is 1 Valentine Place, London SE1 8QH. These terms and conditions govern the application to take part in the Programme.
3. Any person who makes an application to take part in the Programme ("Applicant") must be over 18 years of age at the date of application and be resident in the UK.
4. NO PURCHASE OF ANY SORT IS NECESSARY to make an application to take part in the Programme.
5. By making an application, all Applicants authorise the Broadcaster to pass any personal details submitted during the course of making an application to the Production Company, for consideration. If an application is successful, the Production Company will use such personal details to inform the Applicant of the success of his / her application.
6. The Production Company will use any personal details on any Applicant, passed by the Broadcaster to the Production Company, only for the purposes of this application and will not disclose any such details to any third parties for the purpose of marketing.
7. By making an application, all Applicants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
8. The Broadcaster accepts no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorised access to applications, or applications lost, incomplete or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server failures, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control. All incomplete applications will be deemed invalid. Only applications received in accordance with these terms and conditions will be acceptable.
9. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
10. Please refer to the UKTV Privacy Policy for full details of our policy regarding the information we collect from you. Where there is a conflict between the UKTV Privacy Policy and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will take priority.
