English country cookery days with Lotte Duncan
Lotte Duncan's English Country Cookery Days are run throughout the year. The emphasis is on good English country food, cooked in a lovely stress-free environment. You can be as hands on as you like or if you prefer, just like to sit back and watch!
The Day
Your day will begin with some coffee and homemade cakes or biscuits, Lotte will demonstrate what you will be eating for lunch. During the winter you'll eat lunch in her cosy dining room and in the summer, outdoors amongst the flower borders. Lotte uses local produce wherever possible and all her recipes are seasonal using fruit and vegetables grown within the rhythm of the seasons.
After this leisurely lunch with some delicious wine, followed by coffee and chocolates you are free to leave, perhaps to visit the local market town of Thame. Lotte will helpfully give you a foodie map of Thame in the pack of recipes that are yours to take home.
Numbers are limited to six at a time. However there is a ten per cent discount for group bookings.
Lotte Duncan is one of a small group of specialised and authorised AGA Demonstrators. If you have just acquired an AGA and are not yet used to its company, or would just like some new ideas, then Lotte can arrange an AGA cooking day for you.
