Another Pavlova - where am I going wrong

Can someone help me. Attempted pavlova yesterday and followed recipe to a t. Put in oven at temp specified for time specified but it browned and doesn't look very good. Should I have reduced cooking time for a fan oven?

In a fan oven I think not only would you need to reduce the cooking time, but also the oven temperature. Also, turn the oven off and leave the pav to cool down and dry out in the oven when done.
