Why dont you ever finish showing all of the episodes of a series its so frustrating but you can watch Hart to Hart to the cows come home

It's even more frustrating when you show a series in the wrong order. Inspector Lynley is a prime example of this. They aren't simply "stand-alone" episodes, it has a fairly continuous storyline among the main characters too, so showing a later episode before an older one puts everything out of true.

And when are we going to see the pilot again? It's been years since we saw where it all began!

Scheduling is not this channels strong point - a few weeks ago I started watching the excellent Between the Lines, series 1, on a Saturday night. After 4 episodes it disappeared. Couple weeks later it appeared again, late in the evening on Tuesdays to Fridays, starting again at episode 1. After the 13 episodes of series 1, we are now back to........Series 1, episode 1. Why? What happened to series 2, when can we expect this????
