Does anyone have any info about the ray mears episode were he goes to the Yonuk tribe, (I think thats how you spell it!) It's just that it is such an amazing place I just wanted to know were it is!

There is a bit at the very end were he goes to the top of a plataeu (?) and there is such an amazing view of the who area!

The area is the Angel Falls in Venezuela, the background music has taken me sometime to find but is "Cafe del Mar" by Energy 52 remixed by Micheal Wood hope this helps

Glad to help, the music is great and if you are interested in hearing the whole piece, there is an 11 minute video of it on youtube. Just enter 'cafe del mar; and scroll down to find the micheal woods version, sit back, close your eyes and drift away. I looked everywhere for it found a copy on ebay but the guy wanted £19 (yes 19 quid) in the end found it in a six cd set on HMV site for £6.99 under the 'the ultimate chillout classics album' what a bargain it pays to shop around.

The song where he is halfway up the tepui and describing the trees as broccoli is not cafe del mar. I have just watched that episode and listened to the song (just to make sure)

Its where the camera pans over the canopy there is an epic strings piece playing, if anyone knows the name please enlighten me.

Yes it is that song, i had a listen and the melody is the same but in the episode of ray mears there was no guitar. It was just a smooth strings jobby with no drums, thats the version im after.

Any ideas?
