Yes I have been twice now, and it really is well worth the money. I also thought the Warrior was most interesting. All the guides on the Victory really know their stuff, and make it really informative, and memorable. Also worth going near Christmas as they have a Christmas fair on and a big tree, carols etc, good idea to go if you have already been once, as it gets very busy and they have limited access to the ships. If you have time go to the Submarine museum as well at Gosport, that is also excellent!!!

I grew up within walking distance of HMS Victory, and i have been on board her many times, too many to mention but i still find her a fascinating piece of british history and well worth a visit wether its sunny or rainy. The whole historic dockyard site is well worth a visit with its many attractions especially the naval museum. Big Grin

Wink Wink I served in the R.N .In 1958 I was a guide on board H.M.S Victory. The wealth of history that was gained during each guide duty was menace. I went back to visit Victory last year as a visitor, and was amazed at the amount of restoration work that has been done. When I was on Victory you saw only about half of the ship. Now you see the whole ship as it was in Nelsons day. Its should be classed as a Must See when on holiday in the area.I shall be certainly be re- visiting her in the near future.Dont miss it,its GREAT. Wink

Wonderful!
have visited many historic sites in my life, and in nearly 50 years nothing tops The Victory.
I fully recommend a visit to the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth, The Victory being the jewel in the impressive crown.

Went to visit the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, last year, what a fantastic place to visit the but HMS Victory just has to be the best. The craftsman ship that went into building these vessels is enormous. as well as being the ship of one of the greatest sea battles and where the most famous Lord Nelson fell.
would advise people to vote for this truly wonderful magnificent ship.

The whole of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is worth a visit, not just HMS Victory, but Nelsons flagship is clearly the biggest treasure. One could probably spend all day here.

Have never been to HMS Victory (as yet), however, after seeing the ad on the TV featuring one BEAUTIFUL lady, how could I not vote for it?
