I hope I am wrong but whilst cooking on this evening's show ( 24th January 2007)I am sure that I saw Ed sporting a filthy band aid plaster on his finger. Yuk!! It not only looked bad but surely it was harbouring all kinds of germs, as it looked about 2 weeks old!
I love to watch Ed Baines on Great Food Live and see those wonderful dishes he produces, as for him speaking with a italian accent aswell!!!!
Thankyou for a Great Food Programme !
All the Best,
Annette T
How funny was it today when his suet pudding refused to come out of the bowl - it is so nice when it happens to the professionals as well - I too find him lovely cornetto!!
Best thing about Ed Baines is that he can occasionally shut Jeni up so the viewer can understand the method and the "chefs" tips rather than her inane interruptions about something that is often nothing to do with whats happening at the time. She should learn that if she asks a question listen to the answer not interrupt every five seconds an spoil any sort of continuity. If the fault is some director shouting in her ear I apologise and transfer critisism to the backroom "boys". otherwise
