erm, he didn't really die - his car got launched off the HMS Invincible during series 2, it was pretty obvious he wasn't in it when it went over.
We're now on series 10, so he really was easy to replace!

I think it might be your telly lol, the fun bits are what makes it top gear, I love cars and do think they need more serious bits but without the games etc it would just be fifth gear - and then who'd watch it!

ha, i just watched the bugatti vs plane race (for the millionth time of course) it still makes me laugh, the fly drive holiday one was the funniest in that series though, I can't decide whether that one or the Africa one from the new series is the best though.

he is quite smart, if you read some of his books he really does know quite a lot, not just about cars. If you think about it, most of the insulting things he says are probably part of an act.
And of course he is hilarious.

It can't be Sabine, I'm pretty sure she wasn't on the show untill way after original stig met his "watery end", so she can't be the replacement. And the Stig is a man, probably, I'm not being sexist towards my own sex or anything but men are more often than not better drivers.

I'm a 17 year old little girlie, yet I'm slightly obsessed with Top Gear, all my friends think I'm a little weird - the only reason they watch it is that the fancy Richard Hammond, you see. Yet I love cars, unfortunately despite having been old enough to drive for quite a while now I can't - lessons are so expensive!!!
Anyway, Top Gear rocks and now the new series is being repeated on Dave, I can watch each episode 3 times! (this was the whole point of the message and it took a whole paragraph to get it out!)
oh, and Richard Hammond is quite good looking, I suppose.
