Hi again - the channel team does care. Honest. But - as you can image - they have to make their scheduling decisions based on a lot of different criteria.

The two messages that are coming across loud and clear on these messageboards are " we want Gold to be classic British comedy and TV" and "we want the schedule to be more varied". You'll be pleased to know that at this very moment the Gold team is looking very carefully into these very issues. (Not that they weren't taking feedback on board before). I can't really say any more than that at this stage but just wanted you to know.

cheers

Hi there - how can I resist?! Rest assured I am reading all these comments about the channel and will certainly pass on all the feedback on to the Gold team.

BTW - I didn't delete any of your threads but apologies if our website went on the fritz and ate them by mistake

Brent, Bremner, Pollard, Partridge. Our current decade already has a wealth of wit. But is current comedy really better than ever?

Voluptuous Vicars, beered-up blokes and Bolly dollies. The mighty 90s had it all. But could this decade really lay claim to the finest period in comedy?

Alternative comedy ruled, but so did a couple of Fools. Was the all-embracing Eighties the pinnacle of British comedy?

From the Goodies to the Good life, the 70s had sitcoms galore and so much more. But was the saucy Seventies the best decade for comedy overall?

The Sixties were surreal, satirical and surreal. But was it the greatest ever decade for British comedy?

The Audi R8 just zipped ahead of the Ford Mondeo to win our 2007 Car of the Year contest. But does it deserve the crown?

Actually, that's probably a good thing (in a way) that you haven't seen her tv show. She's a great actress in her own right - I think - but when you've seen a comedian display such a great talent for a range of different characters, it's sometimes harder to accept them as a single character. Or am I talking out my Tardis???!!

So comedienne Catherine Tate is to join Tennant in the Tardis for the fourth series of Doctor Who. But will she cut it as a classic companion? High hopes or are you not bovvered?

Hi all - sorry I haven't replied to your queries for a while. Unfortunately we only had up to Season 4 of Dallas and have no new episodes to show at the moment. Currently the channel has no plans to show any new Dallas episodes this year. That's probably not the answer you were hoping to hear but rest assured I will pass on all your feedback to the channel about the show.

cheers

With all the tax hikes and further threats, big-engined cars are fast becoming the new cigarettes. But is the Government right to target 4x4s, executive limos and sports cars? Tell us what you think. Do you believe the dirty-pawed fat cats who buy them deserve to be soaked, or is the Government unacceptably reducing our car choice in the name of ecology?
