Excuse me, but most of the comedians, if not all of them, in Whose Line Is It Anyway? are not nobodies. They are famous, and have very good careers. If you've bothered to read the Dave messageboard, there are many people who are thrilled by Dave's choice to keep it on. There have been at least four threads at once asking why it wasn't on, and many people have replied. Go figure. And owing to the fact that it ran for 10 series, there were full audiences at every taping, and that lots and lots of people have bought the DVDs, one would think that they were in fact succeeding at being funny, owing to the fact that they are comedians. Finally, if you look up how many awards it's won, then you'll finally get an informed view about it.
I would be interested to know which children's programmes you watch that can be better than Whose Line. I assume that if you do, in fact, enjoy showings of Teletubbies and the like, and fail to appreciate Whose Line, you may be lacking a sense of humour, and you may want to get this checked, as it can be a problem. Either that, or the sophisticated humour of John Sessions may be slightly above your comprehension.
Dave is "the home of witty banter" and of "cutting-edge comedy", as it bills itself. Whose Line is extremely humourous, and John Sessions provides enough witty banter for all four contestants. Therefore, I'm inclined to think that Dave want to live up to their taglines, and keep up brilliant executive decisions by keeping their schedule as it is at the moment.
