A Classic Contemporary Kitchen
The new kitchen/diner was created using handmade American Oak cupboards, with stainless steel contemporary handles. The worktops are made of black emerald green granite, so when the kitchen is lit up, little green sparkly bits are highlighted. The appliances are all from Hotpoint - there is a built-in steam over, a double fan oven, a five ring gas burner, touch control extractor fan, dishwasher and built in fridge freezer, all made from stainless steel. The kitchen has a pull-out larder and two magic corners that ensures every bit of cupboard space is used for storage. The sink is under-mounted and made by Franke in stainless steel once again. The cream flooring comes from Wickes and consists of cream ceramic tiles which are very easy to clean. In the diner area there is a built-in dresser painted in Dulux Hessian with matching handles from the kitchen. It ties in with the solid oak table and cream chairs I purchased off Ebay. One light was made by Christopher Wray and was another Ebay bargain! Next to the dresser is my old faithful Samsung fridge/freezer with plumbed-in water filter and an automatic ice maker. There is no need for bottled water and the on-tap ice is great for family parties and entertaining, so I could not bring myself to throw it out when I remodelled. Finally, the whole room is painted in Farrow & Ball's Cooking Apple Green which is a lovely foil for the oak, black granite and painted dresser.

Your Kitchen is lovely, we are redesigning ours at the moment and had very similar ideas to yours, could you tell me where your units are from?
