White is alright!

The last house I lived in had a full white kitchen, and I'm a convert - it's so good for keeping clean! For our new kitchen, we wanted something open plan and brighter than the old kitchen, but still with plenty of storage to keep clutter down. We wanted the floors to match the existing wooden floors of downstairs, but because it's on concrete it was tricky. So we installed click laminate flooring - really quick and easy, and they sound and feel like wood to walk on. We painted the walls a dark aubergine to make the room feel a bit warmer.
