After the makeover

I started by replacing the carpet and refreshing the woodwork and the radiator with a cream gloss paint. The below dado rail was painted a fresh green, with a soft green painted above. A shimmering green feature paint was used to highlight the dado rail. Coving was added to the ceiling and the lamp shade was replaced with a chandelier type for a more period feel. The room was finished with a green rug, a beech framed mirror and a bamboo stem plant to complement the colour scheme.
