How to create a newspaper covered frame

You will need…

  • Scissors
  • Newspaper
  • PVA glue
  • Frame
  • Quick dry matt varnish
  • Brush to apply glue

Sometimes the old techniques are the best ones. This craft project of covering frames in newspaper is from Victorian times, but it still gives a modern finish to accessories.

Step 1: Cut out columns
Cut out newspaper columns of text. Cut each column in half.

Step 2: Stick to your frame
Using a brush, apply PVA to one side of the newspaper and stick to the frame until covered.
