Decorating video: Modern Moroccan bathroom

Update a simple white bathroom with detailed wallpaper and evocative accessories. Set lanterns, rattan baskets and a touch of wood against soft, muted shades for a coordinating scheme. Styled and presented by Robin Collingwood.

Step 1: Walls

If your wallpaper comes in more than one shade, use two colours to change the dimensions of the room. A darker pattern will create a cosy corner.
Step 2: Windows

The white muslin allows for plenty of privacy, while still letting light in, and has a pretty edge of bells and shells to weight down the fabric.
Step 3: Floors

These warm wood floors are perfect for the look – varnish the
boards with anti-slip varnish to prevent them from becoming hazardous when wet.
Step 4: Furniture

A few small pieces of furniture that can be moved around work well in this bathroom. A butler's tray provides storage and matches the look.
Step 5: Accessories

Look for unusual items and think carefully about how to display them. Decant bath products into pretty glass bottles and dress towels with a bobble trim.
