Individual companies offer different services so it’s important to do your research before making your purchase. For example, you can put the entire build in your selected company’s hands, be your own project manager or simply have the frame erected and do the rest yourself. The options are endless and that seems to be with point of pre-fabricated homes. You can create your dream home, pretty much from scratch.

Hanse Haus
Hanse Haus is a German company that delivers ready to assemble houses across Europe and has, to date, completed around 30,000 homes. The company specialises in energy-saving properties that don’t scrimp on home comforts and come in various architectural styles. In fact, their website states that the only limitation to creating your dream home is your own imagination.

For 30-years, Potton has been helping people build their homes and offers up a wide range of architectural styles for consideration. As well as building your home, the company can also assist with gaining planning permission. Potton offers several options when it comes to your build and although they don’t manage the entire project (including the interior), they can provide you with a project manager or a Potton approved builder to continue the work after the wooden frame has been erected.

The UK arm of Budimex Danwood Ltd was opened in Edinburgh in 2004 and has to date, helped construct over 60 houses.
The houses built are completely finished and include electrics, bathroom suites and even wallpaper, all to your specification and by a team of trained and experienced contractors. The houses are also eco-friendly and energy efficient, using timber from sustainably managed forests meaning that for every tree that is cut down, two saplings are planted.

German company Baufritz prides itself on providing customers with a home tailor made to their specification and have been designing and building homes in the UK for the past four years. The company can provide you with overall planning, site surveys, design and interior design with their own furniture range, made from natural timber. Importantly, they maintain that they ensure atress-free, quality monitored construction, “from the first planning briefing to the handing over of the keys.”

Border Oak also places great significance on being environmentally friendly, going to great lengths to minimise any negative impact their business may incur.

Hanlo provides their clients with the chance to design their dream house or adapt one of the existing designs to their own preference.
The entire off- and on-site build process is controlled and supervised under the Hanlo management regime, so you will only need to deal with one company throughout the entire build.

Expect your quote to include planning drawings, building warrant drawings, design changes, engineers' and energy certificates.

Huf Haus

With an emphasis on luxury lifestyle and eco-friendly living, the company produces a limited number of houses each year. As well as bespoke design and construction, customers are also offered interlinked services including basement construction, interior fittings, furnishings, landscape and garden.

Stommel Haus
Stommel Haus is a German manufacturer of contemporary timber houses. The Stommel trademark is its excellent interior atmosphere based on its unique diffusion open wall construction devoid of any toxic materials.
