Ty Pennington - presenter and team leader of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Lovable jock, handy carpenter and owner of a killer set of pecs, he's also possessed with an inexhaustible supply of energy and is always the one to boost the team's flagging morale at 3am. We met up with him to talk about all things Ty.

Ty talks... his fave makeovers

There are moments in EMHE that Ty describes as moments of grace. By building homes for families in need, Ty is often giving families a second chance at life. He values the moments he has with the workers who have to work non-stop to get the job done, he also cherishes the letters and the emails he gets from families after he’s finished a job. Even though the show is about changing the lives of the families, it always ends up that the families change Ty’s life as well.
