Ty Pennington - presenter and team leader of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Lovable jock, handy carpenter and owner of a killer set of pecs, he's also possessed with an inexhaustible supply of energy and is always the one to boost the team's flagging morale at 3am. We met up with him to talk about all things Ty.

Ty talks... ADHD

Ty has been diagnosed with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a behavioral developmental disorder affecting up to 5% of the world’s population. His condition was first identified by his mother, a trained child psychologist. His inability to focus meant that school was tough for Ty, and he feels that he didn't really come into his own until he entered the world of work. He’s now immensely proud to be a spokesperson for the condition and hopes to inspire kids with the condition that they too can be a successful and productive member of society.
