Geometric shapes
1920s and 30s interiors were heavily influenced by cubism artists which meant geometric spaces were very fashionable. Square shaped bedside tables and rectangular lampshades bring an instant hint of Art Deco. To create those clean lines the Art Deco era was famed for, consider a polished chrome bedstead with a simple, angular design. Grace mirrored double bedstead £475, Pintuck Pleats cushion, Steel £20, Melin Tregwynt Padstow waffle lambswool blanket, Blue £95, Astoria mirrored cube side table, £99, Starla tablelamp, £80, all at John Lewis.
