As the kitchen is increasingly seen as the most important room in the house, its design has become all important. Funky kitchen splashbacks can play a big part in transforming a room from dull to dazzling. Rethink traditional tiles
Think outside the box when laying plain tiles. Try fixing them diagonally to the wall, then for a modern twist, seal with grey or coloured grout instead of white.
