Home lighting guide
Where lighting is concerned, the more the better. This doesn’t mean having a room that is over-bright, but one where light comes from many different sources, creating layers of overlapping pools. This gives a space both atmosphere and character. Equip yourself with an array of lamps, light fittings and pendant shades.

Accent lights
Use accent spotlights in rooms where you want to highlight special features. In hallways, where there is often minimal space, use down lights to wash the walls and highlight the wall itself.
