Re UKTV history: Adam Hart Davis has done great programmes on Brunel

IK Brunel did much for us in London but so far, London has done little or nothing for him, April 9th, Brunel's 200th Birthday Anniversary, came and went without any major celebration in London.

Please enjoy visiting [link] tower-bridge.org.uk/brunel.htm for more

Did I misunderstand, or did Adam Hart Davis just claim tonight that Aspirin was invented by Victorians? If so, are we having a non-sense nationalist chauvinism here?

Could someone please inform me regarding this issue?

Hello, koraypek. Interesting article here [link] . Aspirin has been used since pre historic times in its natural form in willow bark. It appears the French and Italians were first to synthesise the active ingredient. Hope this helps.
