7. The Promoter reserves full editorial control of the Material in the Directory. The Promoter reserves the right to remove and/or moderate any and all Material in the Directory and/or published on the Website, but the Promoter has no obligation so to do.

8. The Promoter will remove any Material that it deems in its sole discretion to be unsuitable. Material will be unsuitable if it is (by way of example only and not by way of limitation) offensive, abusive, defamatory or unintelligible.

9. All rights (including without limitation, copyright and database rights) in or relating to the Directory and the Website are owned or controlled by or licensed to the Promoter, or otherwise used by the Promoter as permitted by applicable law.

10. By submitting Material to the Directory each Contributor irrevocably grants and assigns to the Promoter with full title guarantee the entire copyright in the Material and all other rights of whatever nature in or associated with the Material (including but not limited to database rights) for the full duration of such rights throughout the world. Each Contributor irrevocably waives his/her entitlements under the rights known as "moral rights".

11. The Promoter will credit a Contributor with suitable prominence or lack thereof in the Directory where the Contributor has supplied sufficient information and where the Contributor indicates in the submission process that they wish to be credited.

12. The Promoter may wish to use the Material in the future for other purposes such as (by way of example only and not by way of limitation) in the production and broadcast of television programmes and/or the publication of a book containing selected Material. The Promoter reserves the right to require any and each Contributor (and Contributors agree to comply with any such request by the Promoter) to carry out any steps and to complete any and all documents necessary to permit the use of the Material for any such purpose(s).

13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for Material submitted by Contributors in the Directory and/or published on the Website. Each Contributor agrees to indemnify the Promoter against any legal fees, damages and/or other expenses incurred as a direct or indirect consequence of any harm, damage, and/or loss or otherwise suffered by any third party as a result of any Material submitted by that Contributor.

14. The Promoter does not guarantee the quality or accuracy of historic site recommendations or reviews submitted by Contributors as Material. The Promoter does not guarantee that any photographs and/or any other media submitted by Contributors to accompany recommendations accurately represent the historic site.

15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for Material submitted by Contributors to the Directory and/or published on the Website that may be deemed to be unsuitable as being (by way of example only and not by way of limitation) offensive, abusive, defamatory or unintelligible. Any views, opinions or instructions contained within submitted Material do not represent the views or opinions of the Promoter. The Promoter does not endorse anything submitted by a Contributor that is contained within the Material in the Directory and/or on the Website.

16. Any personal data relating to Contributors will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent.

17. The Promoter reserves the right to alter any aspect of the Directory and/or the Website and how it is run and/or managed.

18. Governing Law. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
