Here's a bit more info about the Britain's Best website to help you get the best out of it including everything you need to know about adding your own content.

Getting Started
Before you can set your video, audio and images loose on the world, you’ll need to register and set up your personal profile.

Once you’ve registered, you can nominate your Britain's Best site for inclusion in the vote, add your own pictures, video, directory comments and corrections.

Adding Content
To nominate a site or add your pictures, videos or comments, simply follow the onscreen prompts.

Just bear in mind that the site is strictly moderated so if you're considering putting up anything really offensive to the historic site in question, it won't see the light of day. We aim to have your files approved within ten minutes tops during the day. If you try and upload something after 10pm, then it will go up the following morning. Video Formats
We can accept content in most formats, but double check your files against the following criteria to be on the safe side.

We will try to process most video formats from the web, your mobile phone or your digital video camera, but to give your file a fighting chance of nabbing its five minutes of fame, it should have one of the following filename extensions:

.avi

.mov

.mpg

.dv

.mp4

.3gp

.asf

.wmv

However, even with the right extension, we may find unsupported codec, which means that your video will be rejected. To guard against the likelihood of your pride and joy being binned, the safest file types to use are MP4 and 3GP.
