I am starting a campaign to re-run a classic 80's series called 'Big Deal'.
Anyone remember it? It stared Ray Brooks (currently in Eastenders) and Sharon Duce. Its a really great comedy-drama and deserves another outing.

I remember the show but never got to see many episodes. 'Fratenizing with zee enemy' at the time, who became the wife, GOD help me.
A great show that I unfortunately missed ( I saw a couple of them) and I would like to see very much.
My fav. line from Ray (to his mum) "Hello Sexpot"

It would be great to see Big Deal back on our screens again. Like lots of other viewers I have bought series one on dvd but there seems to be no plans to release the other 2 series. I'm sure many others would love to see big deal too - it's long overdue to be shown again

Particularly when we are just seeing Sunshine on BBC1, which my memory is telling me is an inferior run round the same subject. But maybe that's just hindsight.

I remember it - it was very good - it even had a good theme tune (one of the bucks fizz dudes if I recall)
Definately worth a repeat.
