Prison Break Characters: On The Run
David Tweener Apolskis

David 'Tweener' Apolskis

Perhaps the least deserving convict to turn up at Fox River, Tweener was a mere pickpocket who unwittingly committed grand larceny when some baseball cards he stole included a rare card worth a fortune. This was enough to get him sent to the harsh environment of Fox River.

On arriving at the prison, Tweener's fresh-faced looks immediately made him the target of T-Bag, who intended to make the hapless new arrival his own sexual plaything. Michael Scofield intervened and protected Tweener, and a brief friendship formed between them. However, prison guard Bellick eventually coerced Tweener into becoming an informant, and this led to Tweener betraying Michael and telling Bellick of the impending prison break. Eventually, Michael's compassion for the misguided young man got the better of him, and Tweener was allowed to be part of the escape plan (which Bellick was unable to stop when the moment came). However, as punishment for his earlier betrayal, he was told he couldn't tag along with the rest of the escapees following the break-out, and season one ended with Tweener alone and desperate.
