Lincoln Burrows

A bad boy with a good heart, Lincoln Burrows had a tough upbringing. His father, Aldo, seemingly ran out on the family when he was a boy, and some years after that their mother died - leaving him to look after his younger brother Michael.

Lincoln became a petty criminal, using his money to put Michael through college, but his life was shattered when he was framed for the murder of businessman Terrence Steadman, brother to the US Vice President. Lincoln was sentenced to death and sent to Fox River prison, but managed to escape with Michael. He now knows that Steadman's death was actually faked, and that he, Lincoln, was framed by a sinister organisation of big businssmen known as "The Company" to draw his father Aldo out of hiding (Aldo had previously worked for the Company, but incurred their wrath by trying to expose their dealings).
