Well, I don't know about you lot but watching 'Elegy For Fallen Wellies' again tonight really brought a tear to my eye and my hamster died today as well 
I found it very touching watching the actors, some of whom had worked with Bill for many, many years. Oh well, rest in peace Bill (and wee hamster)

We have Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads on DVD and I love the episodes that Bill appears as Thelmas dad, what an actor. RIP Bill.

I think that they are trying to wean us off of the old timers gradually so that when they are no longer able to appear it will not be quite such a shock to our systems. Though of course we all know that our addiction will never be overcome.

I have tried googling Jonathan Linsley (Crusher)but there doesn't seem to be much info out there apart from his going on a diet being the end of his LOTSW career! Anyone know what happened to him?

Well I haven't watched it so I cannot judge, though I have always enjoyed watching them in other stuff.
Still watching the reruns of the reruns but hey I need my fix! Watched the one during the week with Norman Rossington and the giant 'Fat Lady' balloon and was reminded that the scene where they are all sitting on the hill, backs to the camera, with the 'Fat Lady' in the middle was, in my opinion, one of the most memorably funny things I have seen in years.

I was visiting Dunstable a couple of months ago and picked up a flyer for a day trip to see the show. The cost was very reasonable - about £16 or thereabouts which included travel there and back. Unfortunately I live about 400 miles away so was unable to take advantage of the offer.
