I know I'm going to upsert a few people here, but please Drama can we have a rest from Hart To Hart & Murder She Wrote. I think fans of the show have had more than their fair share, can we have something different to watch.

What happened to the list of programmes you asked us viewers what we wanted to watch, there were some good suggestions in that list, or was it just a waste of time.

I know schedules take time to compile but can you give us some idea if any of the shows will be shown.

Well tilly11 I agree with you regarding showing the other shows and as for watching the missing episodes of Snowy River, stick around, cause it's starting again next Monday morning at 8am, which (even though I love the show) is a bit ridiculous to start it again so soon.

Is Drama so short of shows that it has to resort to this.

Good old messtaken is BACK. I'm going to hide in my bunker. you can come with me if you like steadward but whatever you do, protect Rhoady.

Don't forget you've got good old Rhoady to keep you company and we're all still out here.

Never mind Steadward, it was fun while it lasted but as with all good things, they must come to an end sometime.

What's going on Drama. I have looked at the listings of Dalziel & Pascoe you are showing everyday next week.

But why are you showing the exact same ones that were shown on Gold the other Sunday and the next few Sundays through February.

Where is the sense in that, don't you have any communication there when there's plenty of other episode to choose from. It doesn't take a genius to work out.

WELL SAID. I'd also like to see A Touch of Frost. And what happened to all the suggestions that we were asked about not so long ago on this message board by Drama, there were some good dramas mentioned in that list, has it just been cast aside like all our other messages.

And poor old Rhoady is stuck in the middle. Tell you what, sent him over to me for a holiday and we can have a good heart to heart. Maybe I can show him the sights where I live. Then he'll came back all nice and refreshed and ready to take over world (if he want's to)

WHERE'S IT GONE DRAMA

As far as I know they've never show series 2 either. I've been on about it for ages.

It was the one where she jumped into the deep puddle.
Still funny, but I thought Alice & Hugo's wedding was the best, when the woman came in and said he was already married.

Looking through the messgae board, a lot of people have the same opinion of Gold (ie Not happy), myself included, so would'nt it be nice if someone from the channel would actually take the time and trouble to explain whats going on with Gold. After all we make the effort.

I know a lot of people ARE happy with the channel but for those of us who are not can we please have some sort of recognition to our questions.

I totally agree with you. Even though I am a huge fan of D&P I posted a message not long ago about Drama & Gold keep showing the same ones over and over again within a few weeks of each other. I really cannot get my head round it, they never used to.

But why do they show the likes of Hart to Hart, Murder She Wrote, keeping Up Appearances, Last of The Summer Wine several times a day. I'm not knocking these shows cause I know there are a lot of fans of them out there but I for one do not watch them.

As for the adverts I think it's the same on all the channels, and have you noticed that all the adverts seem to on at the same time, probabley to stop the likes of you and me flicking through.

Why pick on that show in particular, I agree they do show the same ones too often as I've stated before on this message board. But what about Last of The Summer Wine, Keeping Up appearances, Murder She Wrote and now All Creatures Great And Small from the begining again, to name but a few. At least D&P isn't on EVERY day (even though I would like it to be). I know there are big fans of these shows out there. It's simple really, if you don't like it, don't watch it.

As for Rockcliffe Babies it would be change to watch it again and I expect other people would agree with me on that.

Ha! I suppose next on the cards they rename the channels 'Tom,' 'Dick,' and 'Harry'

I'm really grateful for you showing D&P series 1 - 8 with 'Weildy' and 'Ivor' after all they were much better than the ones now, but can you and Gold please stop repeating the same ones within a few weeks of each other. I'm actually not looking forward to watching them anymore which is a great shame.

There were 29 episodes made upto series 8 why can't you show a few different ones.

And for those who like the later episodes why can't one channel show them and the other show the early ones.

Do you not have the rights to all the episodes?

Apart from that I think your channel is improving so please take note of what we say.

I'm really enjoying the rerun of the McGregor Saga. What some hunks in it, it's getting a bit harder to chose between them.
Seriously though it's great to see it back on telly after all these years.

I personally think it's being shown out of sequence because if you've noticed when they're advertising it they state that there is guest TV personallity in it every day eg: a singer, a soap star, a comedian etc, so if it was shown in order this would'nt happen.
But then again they never seem to show any programme in sequence which is annoying.
Hopefully if Gold is changing it might go back to how it used to be and the powers that be might actually listen to us and take note of these message boards, or at least have the decency to apply to some of our questions as we take the trouble type them and log on the their web site.

Well, well, I though I was the only one to remember The Riff Raff Element. I used to love that programme and wasn't the actor who plays Jim in the Vicar of Dibley in it. If I remember he played the dad who never spoke.

Brilliant weekend of TV with Victoria Wood, absolutely enjoyed it. I'd forgotten how funny and clever she was in those early days.
It was a good example of what UKTV Gold should be about and what it used to be.

Yes you can buy the complete series & The Reunion on DVD. I know you can buy it on ebay but I expect you can also get it from shops like Woolworths, if not they'll probably order it for you.

I totally agree with you about series 3, I though it was just me, but it does seemed to be a rushed. It also seemed strange to introduce the new characters with no background and acted as though they were with the original characters from the beginning.

What I found strange though was there seems to be a huge gap between series 2 & 3 with no explanation of what happened in between moving camps. Maybe it's just me who thinks that. Maybe all will be explained in due course. Also perhaps the cat will turn in Tenko-The Reunion ha.

Rose became paralised from a gun shot wound when she sneaked of the see Bernard then later died from it.
Verna and Miss Hassam died when the allys bombed the camp along with Shinya.
As for Blanche I'm not too sure myself, I don't think she's been mentioned yet, so I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

As I've said before on this message board I love watching D & P, especially the early ones on DRAMA & GOLD, but I would like to know why both channels keep repeating the sames ones withina a few weeks of each other.
Also is there any reason why series 2 is not being shown. Cheers.

With ref to marlene5 we have just started seeing series 3 today which is the final series, (apart from The Reunion) which I hope will be shown. Hope this helps you.

I love watching Dr Who but please don't keep repeating the same ones over and over again.

I was wondering that. As much as I love watching Just Good Friends and Waiting For God, they finished showing the latter to show the former, then back to the latter again. I doesn't really make sense showing Waiting for God again so soon after it finished. Perhaps someone could shed some light on this for us.

This is a good idea to ask us what we want but are you going to take any notice of our suggestions and how long is this post going to on for. I, myself would love to see For The Term Of His Natural Life which was a brilliant mini series and as far as I know I can't get it on DVD for our region. So it would be great to see it again.

Any sign of this programme coming back to Drama and carrying on where it left off. Cheers.

I have complained about this channel time and time again but to no avail.
But some of the people on the message board make me laugh, one minute there's a complaint about UKTVGold not being aptly named then all of a sudden there are complaints about taking the likes of Dallas off.
And also people asking for Prison Break.

Do you want UKTVGold or USTVGold. You can't have it both ways.

Please please please please please can you show D&P from the begining in ther right order.
As you can see from your message board there are a lot of us fans out here and I think the show was at it's best in the first few seasons (well up until at least season 9)

I'm sick of you not taking heed of all these complaints. An idiot can plainly see that we, your suppose viewers, are not happy anymore with this rubbish on your channel.

Well, you know the saying, be careful who you treat on the way up etc, etc.

Your channel used to be great, it was one of the reasons I got Sky in the first place but because of some of the other useless channels I have now got rid of them and reduced my tariff, so if things do not improve I shall have no hesitation in getting rid of the UKTV channels in the future.

I know things can't happen overnight but a response from you would be nice and to know you are taking note and that you are listening to some of the ideas that your veiwers want to watch.

I know we the viewers do complain and you can't please everyone but you don't seem to pleasing anyone at the moment, me included.

Whatever are you doing showing extreme makeover on UKTVGOLD. Have you finally lost the plot completely now - don't you show enough of that rubbish on your other UKTV channels or is GOLD finally scraping the dregs of whats left in their barrel.

You're someone after my own heart. D & P are the best ever and it's brilliant that it's being shown every night on DRAMA at the mo. I even video the shows in case it gets taken off (how sad am I, but I don't care)
I think the early ones are better, especially with David Royle, such a shame he left. Maybe we should campaign to bring him back.

Good idea, I already have stopped watching it. And as for UKGOLD2 it means we get double the repaeats and double the ****

I think we should keep sending in the exact same messages over and over again - see how UKTV Gold like it, keep watching BORING OLD REPEATS all the time like we have to.

I totally agree. I know there are a lot of Olny Fools fans out there, me included at one one time, but not anymore, I think the programme has been done to death now, eg: all day most weekends.

We all need a bit of variety in our lives cause as with Gold we get BORED.
There have been lots and lots of complaints about this channel on this message board, so I strongly suggest that the powers that be start taking notice. It doesn't take a genius to work out that us, your viewers are not happy anymore with UKTV Gold.

I agree, I think they 're great too, especially when they're running down the hill mooing. I must be pretty sad, but I don't care.

I didn't see the programme but if your looking for particular books you can log on to bookfinder.com and type Arnheim in the title section, that might give you some idea. You don't have to have the authors name. Hope this helps

Thanks for keep showing Dalziel & Pascoe, I absolutley love the show, and the week long session of episodes you did was a brill idea. I wouldn't complain if you did it again. Warren Clarke has got to be the best actor on telly, with Colin Buchanan as his sidekick they make a great team.

Totally agree. He is a very underestimated actor who can play serious or comedy roles. Dalziel & Pascoe is my favourite programme on telly at the mo. Long may it reign.

For The Term of His Natural Life starring Colin Friels was an excellent series, or even The Thorn Birds.

Absolutley, the show is utter rubbish. I love quiz shows, particularly about tv and films, but this one, I wouldn't even put it in the same catagory as the likes of Telly Addicts.

I watched the first show and that was it, I turn it off every time it comes on the telly.

It looks as though the shows format was thought of in five minutes and just thrown together.

What a great shame.

Forget Sindy or Barbie. I had Pippa dolls, does anyone else remember them. I'm in my 40's now but still have them, 14 to be exact, with all the clothes and their sports car and pony.

None of my mates had them and I've never seen or heard of them since so it would be nice to know i'm not alone.

Please, please, please, please, please can we have some of the old Aussie soaps back on. Sons & Daughters was a great one, The Flying Doctors, The Young Doctors, The Sullivans and of course Prisoner Cell Block H.
It would make a bit of a change from our programs now and even if they were on late at night I wouldn't mind.

In 3rd place they showed The Vicar od Dibley - The Wedding, 2nd was Open All Hours - don't know which one cause I don't like it so didn't watch it - sorry, 1st was Ony Fools and Horses - The Frogs Legacy

Brilliant list of programs, I've just come back from Oz and there still showing Sons and Daughters over there, loved every minute of it. The last 2 on your list are my favs and does anyone remember Shortland Street?

I don't watch it much either now. It was one of the main reasons I had sky in the first place but it's not worth the money we pay for it. UKTV Drama has gone the same and there are way too many UKTV lifestyle channels regarding health, home and gardens.

Not only Prisoner Cell Block H but also the likes of Sons and Daughters, The Flying Doctors, to name but a few. To me they were good old Aussie soaps

I totally agree with everything you say. Everytime you turn on either UKTV Gold or Drama it's the same boring old programs. It's about time we had more of a variety. I don't mind watching whats on there OCCASIONALLY but could we please have more of a choice.
