Hyacinth can get very annoying at times!

I do feel for poor Richard. Her demands are just so ludicrous and the situations she gets into, are the stuff of legend.

Her family are reminiscent of a situation I have known in my personal life when I was younger - the grubby council house, the broken down car, a busted gate, seelotape across the window and the letter box plate that falls off as you knock on the door.

I am so glad I am not part of that anymore, but it is just so hilarious how they certainly manage to bring Hyacinth right down to reality!

I started watching this back in 1983, when it was at its prime.

I love it so much, and still continue to do so, and I just can't get enough of those classic moments, that leave your sides aching from laughing!

John Sullivan gelled the sad and funny moments together with such expert timing.

I can say my favourite ever episode is 'The Russians Are Coming' - this made such compulsive viewing and very poignant.

The funniest moment I've ever witnessed was the famous 'Del Boy falls through the bar' - such genius!!
