Prison Break 2: Disconnect
Sara breaks free from her tormentor; Aldo makes his peace with Michael but pays the ultimate price; and Michael and Lincoln decide to stop running and take a stand against their pursuers.
Kellerman continues his torture of Sara. There's a knock at the door. The motel manager informs Kellerman of complaints about the volume of his TV. As Kellerman squirms, Sara wiggles her way to the drain plug and pulls it out with her teeth. We learn how Michael's foster father enjoyed beating him as a child as we flashback to a young and bruised Michael in a locked, dark room.
The door opens, and there's Aldo. He tells the boy that "he" will never hurt him again. As they leave Michael spots his foster father lying on the ground, beaten to death. A shaken Michael takes off running. Kellerman hears the drain, and heads into the bathroom with his gun drawn. The tub's empty. Sara jumps out from behind the door, wielding the hot iron.
She presses it into Kellerman's chest, causing him to collapse in agony. She grabs her stuff, knocks out the window screen, and leaps. She lands on a car, and the alarm sounds. Kellerman manages to drag himself over to the window, but Sara's gone. Mahone finds the shack in the desert, complete with bloodstains, fake nitro vials, and footprints.
Michael yells at Aldo for abandoning him. He was left in that foster home for six months. He refuses to listen to Aldo, who claims: "I came back so that we could fix this." "This can never be fixed," Michael shoots back. Aldo brings up the recording that he thinks Sara has. Kellerman checks ERs trying to find Sara. Kim calls Kellerman, who lies and tells him Sara's dead. Kim wants him to take a picture of the body, and send it to him.
C-Note and the family are camping out in a motor home in North Dakota. Bellick's stuck talking to Detective Slattery. He gives her an edited version of their search for T-Bag. Michael says if Sara has anything, she doesn't know it. He adds that he doesn't know where she is, but he can call her. Sucre reminds them that they have to meet the plane in two hours.
Just then Mahone arrives, and starts shooting. Aldo grabs Sucre's gun to cover the others as they race toward the car. They all make it, but Aldo gets shot in the stomach. Michael tells Sucre to get them to a hospital. In North Dakota Dede's in pain, but they don't have her medication. Kacee has an extra prescription for emergencies, and C-Note says they'll have to go to a pharmacy.
Detective Slattery doesn't believe Bellick's story that he never saw who hit him. Bellick amends his story, saying that he and Geary disagreed about how to handle the manhunt. Geary hit him. He then pretends to tear up, and says he'll do whatever he can to help find the person who killed his friend. C-Note waits outside a pharmacy while Kacee gets the medication. The pharmacist sees a picture of the family in the paper, and makes up an excuse to go into the back. Lincoln spots a sign for a hospital but it's too late. Aldo tells his boys to find Sara because, "She can end this."
Mahone calls in the license plate on Aldo's car. Then he receives a call from a hospital. Mahone enters a hospital room. The shot Latino tells him he's got info on Scofield, and wants to cut a deal. The brothers lay their father to rest in a grave with a makeshift cross. Mahone tells the Latino he's got his deal, but the man wants citizenship...and he wants it in writing. Mahone starts pulling out the man's tubes, and cuts off his morphine.
Detective Slattery informs Bellick that no one found T-Bag at the house. She then shows him a receipt for his credit card, smeared with blood. When they found the receipt it was in Geary's hand, his finger pointing to Bellick's name: "With his last ounce of strength he told us you killed him." Bellick finally tells the truth, including Westmoreland's money, but she doesn't believe him. Kacee finally gets the medication. As she leaves, the police pull up.
She drops the bag in a trashcan, and says she doesn't know where her husband is. They take her away, and all C-Note can do is watch. Kellerman admits to Kim that Sara got away. Kim flies into a rage. Sara cries while stitching up her arm in a bathroom stall. As Mahone speeds along, he gives orders to have the plane intercepted: "If they gotta take the plane down, just do it."
As the plane lands Sucre's ready to leave, but Michael says they're staying. Sucre thinks Michael's crazy, and hugs him goodbye. Sucre and Lincoln shake hands. As the brothers watch the plane take off, Michael asks: "Are you ready for this?" Lincoln replies: "Been waitin' years". "Good to hear it, because today is the day we stop running."
Michael and Lincoln spot a jet, and realize it's gunning for the plane. There's no time to worry about Sucre because Mahone is heading straight for them. Bellick tells Slattery that everything they have is circumstantial. She plays back his call to Geary, and then arrests him. Kellerman tries to call the President from a pay phone, but they deny knowing him. He calls Kim and complains. Kim orders one of his underlings to "Make him a ghost".
Michael and Lincoln are still driving when Michael gets a blip of a signal on his cell. He tells Lincoln to turn around so he can get closer to a radio tower. The call connects, and then... Wham! Mahone smashes into the passenger side. The brothers stumble out of the car as Mahone exits his vehicle with him gun pointed at them. Sara picks up Michael's call. The final word we hear from her is, "Michael?"
