Prison Break 2: Unearthed

Michael pays a visit to Mahone's ex-wife, and pieces together his dark secret; Bellick ambushes T-Bag, and he'll stop at nothing to learn where the money is; and Lincoln and LJ appear to come to the end of the line.

In a public garden Michael checks his tattoo, as well as a map of the gardens. He zeroes in on a specific plant -- the Apache Desert Ghost -- but spots two Federal Agents, and bolts. They give chase but he's able to lose them. While eating Michael sees Mahone on TV. He is stunned to learn of Tweener's death, and the retrieved hard drive. Agent Lang and another agent discuss the ampoules of nitro they found under the plant.

It's the kind heart patients carry, but it can become explosive in certain environments. Mahone bursts in, and screams at his staff about plugging the leak in the office. Michael gets on the Internet, and discovers Mahone has an ex-wife. Mahone orders Lang to set up a sting operation with C-Note's wife. C-Note meets up with some friends, and learns that the Feds have been watching Kacee. C-Note figured they would be, and asks the guys to help him get to Kacee and Dede. Lang visits Kacee, and says they know about the Rainbow Room phone call. She could arrest her right now, and call in social services for Dede. Bellick calls Fox River, and discovers that T-Bag wrote letters to one address fifty-two times.

Lincoln and LJ hit the road. A waitress recognizes Lincoln, and they are forced to run and abandon their car. Michael shows up at Pamela's house, Mahone's ex-wife, pretending to be an Agent. He says Mahone's up for a promotion which requires a higher security clearance, so he's doing a background check. Pamela's reluctant, but Michael makes up a story of how the Bureau took a toll on his marriage. Pamela invites him in for coffee.

Sara figures out that the rendezvous with Michael will be at the Sundown Hotel, and guesses it's the one in Gila, New Mexico, since it's closest to the border. T-Bag -- dressed in his Sunday best -- stashes the money, buys some flowers, and pockets a scissors. C-Note and his team argue about whether to go in armed or not. C-Note doesn't want his family caught in the crossfire, and they finally agree: unarmed. Kellerman is notified that Sara used the dead woman's ID to get a ticket to New Mexico and rent a car.

He reports this to Mahone, who's also learned that Lincoln was spotted in Arizona. Mahone tells his people to work on combinations that contain the letters "NM." Pamela mentions Mahone's overnight obsession with gardening. She tells Michael how he ripped up the back yard, ordered her to stay out, and used lots of fertilizer and lye for a flowerbed. When Pamela leaves the room, Michael pockets her cell phone.

Kacee looks like she's about to betray her husband to the Feds. She makes her way through an amusement park, where one of C-Note's men gives her instructions. She's worried the Feds will take Dede, but the guy says that's taken care of, so Kacee runs. She makes it to the jeep and they get away. She talks on a cell to C-Note, who's outside Dede's school. Michael brings up Shales. Pamela says Mahone didn't change until after Shales' trail went cold.

That's when Mahone wanted her and their son out of the house. She remembers the date: June 15. There's a flashback of a newspaper stating that Shales went missing in mid-June. Michael has what he came for, and starts for the door, but Pamela grows suspicious. He calms her with another smooth lie, and leaves. The Feds show up outside the school. C-Note charges in, grabs his daughter, and runs.

T-Bag gets to his ex's house. It's for sale and deserted. While T-Bag reminisces about his ex, Bellick jumps out and clubs him. Mahone works on the code, and breaks it down to June 3rd: tomorrow. He gets a call from Pamela's phone, but it's not his ex-wife calling... it's Michael. He reveals that he knows all about Shales. "The lye decomposes the body, but the soil will still contain the DNA."

He offers Mahone a deal: back off, let him and his family disappear, and he'll keep Mahone's secret. Mahone just says, "I'll see you soon, Michael", and circles Gila on a map. T-Bag comes to. Bellick takes the scissors, and threatens to cut the wrist stitches one by one until T-Bag gives up the money. T-Bag defies him, and Bellick starts cutting. C-Note, Kacee, and Dede share a tender reunion. LJ and Lincoln make it to a train station. Mahone digs up his yard, and there's a skeleton beneath the birdbath.

The police spot Lincoln at the station, and he and LJ make a run for it. LJ is hit by an oncoming car, and Lincoln stops to help him. As the police apprehend them, Lincoln can only repeat "I'm sorry" over and over.
