Green Wing
If you're expecting a conventional hospital drama - you'll be disappointed. Part sitcom, part sketch show, Green Wing is fantastically surreal and very, very funny. Green Wing doesn't have any medical storylines, but it does follow the personal lives of the doctors and nurses who work at the fictional East Hampton Medical Trust in fresh and, sometimes, unusual ways - surreal sequences link disparate parts of the story using innovative techniques to produce physical comedy straight out of the silent era. With a brilliant cast that includes: Sarah Alexander, Michelle Gomez, Tamsin Greig, Pippa Haywood, Mark Heap, Stephen Mangan and Julian Rhind-Tutt.
