To coincide with Mother’s Day, G.O.L.D. pays tribute to a long-standing institution and ever-fertile mine of comedy inspiration, the family.
Episodes from the likes of My Family (starring Robert Lindsay and Zoe Wanamaker), Only Fools And Horses, After You’ve Gone, The Green Green Grass and Bread showcase the myriad up-and-down relationships featured throughout the decades of the British sitcom.
There may be bickering husbands and wives, put-upon dads, hormonal teenagers and proud mothers, but one thing is for certain in G.O.L.D.’s Our Family Weekend… blood is always thicker than water.
