Last Of The Summer Wine

Weekdays at 7pm

Originally appearing as part of BBC’s Comedy Playhouse in 1973, Last Of The Summer Wine has gone on to become the longest-running sitcom on British television.

Written by the legendary Roy Clarke, LOTSW has, over the years, made stars of Bill Owen, Peter Sallis and Brian Wilde, but has also managed to adapt and move on after losing two of them.

With more adventures of the older community in the Yorkshire village of Holmfirth, LOTSW is back on G.O.L.D. with channel a premiere for series 21-24.

Series 21 kicks off when Barry comes to Marina’s rescue after a nasty bike accident, only to spark rumours of marital disharmony. But Truly is quick to suggest a remedy for the gossip with the help of borrowed lipstick.
